1980 OFFICIAL OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES PLATE 1980 OFFICIAL OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES PLATE This plate has the 1980 Lake Placid raccoon logo and XIII Olympic Winter Games Lake Placid 1980 logo. It was commissioned as the official commemorative plate of the XIII Olympic Winter Games. The original art was by Alton Tobey and produced by Viletta and is 8 ½" in diameter. It is a Limited Edition and has a Registration Number 2714A. $20.00

CANVAS BACK DUCK WHITE HOUSE PLATE, HAVILAND LIMOGES Here is a rare beautiful limited edition Canvas Back Duck plate. The pattern was created by Limoges Haviland Co. and presented to U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes on June 30, 1890. This plates number is 2299 of 2500 limited edition. It was signed by a member of the Haviland family and dated June 30, 1971. It has the American Eagle clutching arrows on the back rim edge. These are very rare plates and only a few surface now and then for resale. It is 9" in diameter and is in perfect condition. $60.00

TROTTING FOR A GREAT STAKE PLATE, CURRIER & IVES Trotting for a Great Stake. Currier & Ives were printmakers to the American Public. The original print depicting this scene was sketched by Louis Maurer and was lithograph #3850 circa 1890. The print shows America’s most popular form of horse racing in the mid 1800’s. The plate was made by one of the premier china companies, Woodmere China. The plate measures10 3/8" in diameter and is in perfect shape.
